FATIMA Women’s Network is working with Social Enterprise East Midlands (SEEM) in a regional Social Enterprise project entitled, ‘Making Money Matters!’, funded by Capacity Builders. The project aims to increase, grow and develop Social Enterprises within Black Asian Minority Ethnic Refugee (BAMER) communities.
Details of our next event are as follows:
What: ‘Family Fun Day’ with free hot buffet, free henna tattoos, free threading and face painting, as well as children’s activities, games and stalls.
Where: Hardwick Primary School, Hastings Street, Derby, DE23 6QQ.
When: Sat. 25th Sep 2010 at 11am-3pm.
Our key objectives for this event are:
1. To invite different communities to raise their awareness of Social Enterprises by meeting with Social Entrepreneurs, as well as access information on setting up an Social Enterprise/Enterprise.
2. To offer agencies who support Social Enterprises/Enterprises the opportunity to advertise their services and provide information.
3. To allow Social Enterprises/Enterprises a free stand/stall to promote their business.
