Derbyshire Learning & Development Consortium

Who are we?

Derbyshire Learning & Development Consortium was established in 2000 to support Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations across Derbyshire access funding and key information to enable them to develop and deliver high quality learning and development opportunities for their staff, volunteers, clients and learners.

What do we do?

The Consortium aims to make your life easier, by supporting your progress as an organisation in the field of learning and development by keeping you informed on key policies and legislation.  The Consortium is in a prime position to access funding and represent the Sector at all levels, which in turn can offer you the chance to sustain your work and get your voice heard.

We appreciate the time implications of searching for funding, networking and trying to gain representation in key areas, therefore we exist to increase awareness of the Sector’s ability to engage with the most ‘hard to reach’ individuals and allow you to share good practice and work in collaboration, utilising each others expertise.
