Future Jobs

Derbyshire Learning & Development Consortium (DLDC) is currently working with English National Youth Arts Network (ENYAN) and Third Sector Consortium (3SC) on the delivery of their Future Jobs Programmes.

The programmes provide a fantastic opportunity for young unemployed people to gain employment and develop a range of valuable and transferable employment skills.  There is an extremely comprehensive wraparound support package for all employees including dedicated regional ‘Information, Advice and Guidance Workers’, teams of Peer Mentors and access to an accredited youth art training programme (if applicable).

If you are an organisation based in Derbyshire and interested in recruiting a new member of staff under the Future Jobs programme you will receive funding to cover the costs of employing a new member of staff (minimum wage) for six months.  This will also include a budget to put towards mentoring costs provided by your existing staff and training applicable to their role and development.  Further training may be available from other funding streams to support paid staff.

To find out more please contact Jenna Shaw or Rosie Slater at DLDC on Derby (01332) 265960 or alternatively click here.

Voluntary Action Staffordshire has produced an excellent round up of current funding opportunities. This can be found on their website:
